Sleep under the stars and experience the most direct connection with the vast beauty of Bodhi Khaya’s land. Our camping option is BYO, which means you are required to bring your own tent, mattress and bedding.
Restio is a single room with a window overlooking a lush garden and stately trees, with a shared bathroom in the Communal Farmhouse.
The first six rooms in the inner section of our monastery-style cloister building share two showers and two toilets. Each room contains a bed, a small cupboard space to hang clothes, and a side table. These rooms lead into an open plan living space with a coffee/tea station that looks out across the gardens, labyrinth and mountain.
Around a central courtyard 6 beautifully simple monastery-style single rooms form part of the Outer Cloister building. Each room has a bed, hand basin, side table, and a hanging space for clothes. These rooms share 2 showers and 3 toilets. The Inner Cloister is attached to our Outer Cloister.
The courtyard rooms are new and modern, and are conveniently situated close to both the Meditation Hall and the main Dining Room. Each room is a twin, with an en suite bathroom. We have named them after the beautiful flowers growing in the garden: Orchid, Poppy, Fern, Wild Olive, Morning Glory, Rose, and Honeysuckle.
The Communal Farmhouse is spacious and feels of old with its thick walls and original features preserved from up to 200 years ago.
One enters the Farmhouse via a tea room and sitting area with a fireplace and view over-looking the valley, leading down a passage to a cosy lounge with its own clay fireplace and a library filled with a vast variety of books.
Rooms available for single occupancy, both leading off the Library:
Disa – a twin room with its own fireplace and a door leading out to a quaint stoep, with shared bathroom
Daisy – a gorgeous, spacious room with a queen bed, beautiful natural lighting, with shared bathroom
Our Garden rooms are quirky and each have their own personality. With en-suite bathrooms and double beds, the Garden Rooms can be booked in their entirety by an individual looking for privacy during their stay.
