With Nicci Cloete-Annette and Leli Hoch

July 26 - 29, 2019

  • Cloister Inner – R 4,490.00
  • Courtyard for Single Occupancy – R 5,240.00
  • Courtyard for Double Occupancy – R 4,490.00

Nicci, Leli and Zingisa would like to invite you to join them end of July 2019 on their Three Night Winter Warmer Yoga retreat at beautiful Bodhi Khaya.

We aren’t going to make lofty promises about awakening, enlightenment or levitation, but we do give you our solemn pledge to lead you in yoga twice daily in the cosy and warm meditation hall, with ample time to explore meditation and pranayama.

Sound artist Quentin Dibley Green, just back from the Tankwa Artscape project, will offer a meditative sound journey on Saturday evening, caressing your ears with subtle and unexpected sounds.

Part of the retreat will be held in noble, friendly and supportive silence.

Whatever brings you to Bodhi Khaya, we would love to welcome you with open and kind arms, and to take good care of you as you take good care of yourself.

We will arrive from early afternoon on Friday 26th July and depart for home on Monday 29th July after lunch.

Twice daily yoga, meditation and breath work is complemented by ample free time in which to recharge your batteries in whatever way serves you best.

You need do nothing but relax: we will prepare you delicious vegetarian meals, keep the kettles boiled for all the tea and the fires roaring in the meditation hall so you are warm and snug.  This time is for you, so if you choose to join us for all or just some of the activities, or if you prefer to stay snuggled up in your crisp white bed linen reading a good book or going for hikes in the fragrant fynbos, breathing in the freshest mountain air, all as your heart desires.

There will be massages on offer for those wishing to take their TLC to a deeper level.

The central theme that Nicci will be exploring through the yoga, meditation and breath work on this retreat is slowing down and “practicing the pause”, teaching you some simple, practical exercises that you can take home with you as tools to embrace the second part of the year with ease. It will include dipping into the idea of creating a tried and tested morning routine that she and millions of others worldwide use to set themselves up for a day feeling poised, empowered, and at ease, despite the frenetic activities that the day may hold (based on Hal Elrod’s Miracle Morning).
