Project: Donate and Regenerate

Bodhi Khaya is deeply committed to land restoration and regeneration. We will plant 300,000 indigenous trees in 30 years. That’s 300,000 tons of carbon sequestration!

The forest will create about 20 hectares of sanctuary and habitat for sustained biodiversity in our conservancy. Degraded agricultural land will be replanted with coastal sand-forest saplings of the same gene stock. The trees are planted with intention, their growth is monitored and recorded, and they are supported with best practices to ensure optimal survival. Planting trees creates opportunities for environmental restoration and participation; education; and employment.
