Being under the stars, on the earth, and in a location you have found most inviting, can only be experienced by camping. We have a number of locations where we encourage your interface with the wilderness abounding Bodhi Khaya. Join a retreat, or design your own family or personal retreat and bring your gear and set yourself up in the cradle of nature and mountains. Showers and abolution facilities are available.
Please be aware that we do not allow open fires. Fires are restricted to designated fire pits and must be tended at all times. Cooking on fires is encouraged, again only in designated areas.
The first six rooms in the inner section of our monastery-style cloister building share two showers and two toilets. Each room contains a bed, a hand basin, a small cupboard space to hang clothes, and a side table. These rooms lead into an open plan living space that looks out across the gardens, labyrinth and mountain.
Around a central courtyard 5 beautifully simple monastery-style single rooms form part of the Cloister building. Each room has a bed, hand basin, side table, and cupboard. These rooms share 3 showers and 3 toilets and a treatment room for soaking baths. The Inner Cloister is attached to our Outer Cloister.
The courtyard rooms are new and modern, and are conveniently situated close to both the Meditation Hall and the main Dining Room. Each room is a twin, with an en suite bathroom. We have named them after the beautiful flowers growing in the garden: Orchid, Poppy, Fern, Wild Olive, Morning Glory, Rose, and Honeysuckle.
Our Garden rooms are quirky and each have their own personality. With en-suite bathrooms and double beds, the Garden Rooms can be booked in their entirety by an individual looking for privacy during their stay.
